Street Shine Mobile Detailing is based in Tulare and covers Tipton, about 12 miles south. Tipton is about 12 miles straight south on Highway 99, out in dairy country. It is close enough that we treat it like home turf, and most of the work there is trucks and family vehicles that earn their keep. If your vehicle spends its life on farm roads, that is exactly what we are set up for.
Work vehicles out here take a beating from farm roads, and the insides usually need more attention than the outsides. We are set up for that, and we are not precious about a truck that has actually been used.

Read moreTipton is a small place, around 2,500 people, sitting in dairy country south of us with milk processing in town. Most of what we detail here earns its keep. Trucks and family vehicles that run unpaved roads every day, and that changes the job. Unpaved road dust is coarser than town dust and it gets driven into the paint at speed, so it sits in the clear coat rather than on it. The outside usually looks worse than it is.
What is genuinely worse is the inside. Dust comes in through the vents and the door seals and ends up in the carpet, the seat seams and the headliner. People vacuum it for years and it keeps coming back, because a vacuum only lifts what is loose. Getting it out means pulling the seats forward, steaming the fabric so the fine stuff releases, and extracting it rather than stirring it around.
Dairy country adds its own problem. Feed dust and lot grit carry salts, and salts hold moisture against metal. On a truck that lives out here it is worth getting into the wheel wells, the bed seams and the underside of the tailgate, not because it looks bad but because that is where things start to go wrong quietly.
Tipton is about 12 miles straight south of us and a 16 minute drive down Highway 99. That is close enough that we treat it like home turf and price it the same as a Tulare job.
We are not precious about a truck that has been used, and there is no need to tidy it before we arrive. We bring our own water and our own power, which matters more out here than in town, so a yard or a shop pad works fine. A flat spot about a car and a half wide is all we need.

No. We carry our own water tank and our own power, so we can work at a house, a yard or the edge of a field. The only thing we cannot do without a covered space is a ceramic coating, and we arrange that one separately.
